AMAIZE-ING Latin Street Food is a Sydney-based food venture born from passion, tradition, and the irresistible flavours of Latin America.
But we’re more than just empanadas, we’re a celebration of culture, warmth, and unforgettable bites. Whether it’s for festivals, corporate events, private catering or takeaway orders, we’re here to share a slice of Latin America with every customer.


Our history
Founded by Neftis Madrid, a Venezuelan entrepreneur and chef with deep roots in Latin culture and culinary arts, AMAIZE-ING brings authentic corn-based street food to the heart of Australia, gluten-free, always made with love.
We specialise in Venezuelan-style empanadas, handcrafted with cornmeal and filled with real ingredients, bold flavours, and family-inspired recipes. Each empanada is golden, crispy, and packed with delicious fillings like shredded beef, chicken, black beans & feta, chorizo & cheese, and more.
All our food is prepared in a licensed commercial kitchen, following NSW Food Authority standards, and made fresh to order.
We proudly serve communities across Sydney and have participated in iconic events like the Marrickville Festival, Dulwich Hill Village Fair, and Double Bay Festival, always bringing a crowd and leaving a smile.
